Chancellor
Katarzyna Łasińska obtained her engineering degree in 1995 at the Higher School of Engineering in Zielona Góra. After graduating, she worked at "SERVISCO" Express Delivery System in Zielona Góra in an administrative and accounting position.
From 1995 to 1997, she worked at the Higher School of Engineering in Zielona Góra in the Secretariat of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. From 1998 to 2001, she was employed as the Head of the Accounting Department at the University of Zielona Góra.
In 1998, she completed an accounting course at the Association of Polish Accountants. From 2001 to 2007, she worked as the Head of the Analysis and Planning Department at the University of Zielona Góra. In 2004, she completed postgraduate studies in "Management of Non-Refundable EU Assistance Funds with Elements of European Law" at University of Zielona Góra.
She obtained her Master’s degree in 2011 at the Higher School of International Relations and American Studies in Warsaw (specializing in personnel consulting and human resource management). From 2008 to 2012, she worked as the Director of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Development at the University of Zielona Góra. Until 2015, she was employed as the Director of Economic and Human Resources Affairs at our university. In 2014, she completed a postgraduate ‘MBA program in Higher Education Management’, and in 2015, a postgraduate program in ‘Labor Law’ at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
Since 2015, she has been employed as the Chancellor of the University of Zielona Góra.
During her professional career at the University of Zielona Góra, she has participated in manypraca training sessions on university management issues, public finance, higher education law, and labor law. She has experience in working as a member of a supervisory board. From 2010 to 2013, she was a member of the Supervisory Board as a representative of the University of Zielona Góra at the Lubusz Industrial and Technological Park Ltd. in Zielona Góra. Since 2013, she has been the chairwoman of the board. In 2016, she successfully passed the exam for candidates for supervisory board members in state-owned companies. Since 2017, she has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Karol Marcinkowski University Hospital, representing the University of Zielona Góra.
She is married and has two sons. Beyond her professional career, she is interested in music, film, and sports.
